DR. SANDHYA T. PATEL

Dr. Sandhya T. Patel is a double board-certified Internal Medicine and Pediatric Physician at Ventura Coast Family Care in Ventura, California. She is also affiliated with Community Memorial Hospital. Dr. Patel has been practicing medicine for over 25 years and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the American College of Physicians.
She serves on the Pediatric Committee, Covid Task Force, Ethics Committee and Empower Committee at Community Memorial Hospital. She cares for premature infants to patients in their 90’s. Dr. Patel cares for multiple generations of families and has seen first-hand the benefits of preventative health care. Her areas of interest include healthy lifestyle and mental health.

Dr. Patel graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology. She completed her M.D. at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and did her residency at Maricopa Medical Center/Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Patel has volunteered as a physician at the Westminster Free Clinic in Thousand Oaks and has been a member of The National Charity League, a mother-daughter organization serving a variety of charities in Ventura County.

Dr. Patel plays competitive tennis, enjoys barre classes, skiing, yoga, hiking, and biking. She enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling. She is married to her loving husband, a local interventional cardiologist, and has 3 beautiful children.
